Laurie Frankel Introduces “Finding” Vol 1: The Renaissance of Angelo Garro

“Finding” was borne as Laurie’s response to our question of…to-newsletter or not-to-newsletter ? And it made sense to us that Volume 1 would showcase Angelo, someone she has spent nearly a year documenting and someone she describes as “artisan blacksmith by trade, cook by birthright and omivore by compulsion”.  He pals around with food and art folks with names such as Michael Pollan, Alice Waters and Werner Herzog, to name but a few.  And after watching “Making Gnocchi” her short film on exactly that, who wouldn’t want to have a friend and client like Angelo too.

Making Gnocchi, the short film, here.
